Two CH&CO rising stars are Hospitality Heroes semi finalists

Congratulation to CH&CO’s Penny Kachellek and Tereza Pospisilova. Both have secured a place in the semi-finals of the inaugural 57 Hospitality Heroes competition.

Organised by Kraft Heinz, in partnership with industry networking association Arena, the initiative recognises foodservice and hospitality industry professionals under 30 who go above and beyond their job role while giving something back to the industry in their spare time.

Nominated by CH&CO chef manager, David Grave, Penny is described as embodying the phrase ‘going the extra mile’ but doing it with a smile! She’s instrumental to the smooth service provided at the site where she works; happy to help anyone, be it customers, client or colleagues, and stepping in to help other teams without a second thought.

Tereza was nominated by CH&CO general manager, Alex Darby, who describes the retail manager, as ‘on a mission’. With responsibility for a venue café and employee restaurant, she keenly put herself forward to experience other areas of the business. She now splits her time between retail, admin, accounts and hospitality and events, with giving customers an amazing experience always her priority. Tereza is also involved in a Springboard project to share her experiences with students looking to enter the hospitality industry.

Penny and Tereza have been invited to attend a special Hospitality Heroes reception on 5 September at The Shard, where their successes will be celebrated and the three finalists announced.

The CH&CO team is very proud of them both and wish them the best of luck!
