CH&CO serves up headline sponsorship for GGA 2020
CH&CO has stepped up to the plate to become joint headline sponsor of the Global Good Awards (GGA) 2020.
The Global Good Awards is all about rewarding businesses, NGOs, charities and social enterprises of all sizes from micro to multi-nationals, for doing good globally and making strides towards a better world for people, the planet and the global economy.
CH&CO is the catering and hospitality partner for BMA House, the GGA Awards venue for the past two years, which has helped the Awards pioneer its vegan menu.
Emma Hill, Group Head of Food, Health, Safety & Environment, CH&CO Group, said: “We’re thrilled to be joint headline sponsor of the Global Good Awards. We’ve developed a great relationship with the team over the past two years working on the awards event and expanding this fits our sustainability goals. CH&CO is committed to operating in a sustainable and responsible way and through this partnership we can celebrate sustainability pioneers and share best practice.
“When we were first asked to create a vegan menu with BMA House for the Global Good Awards event, we jumped at the opportunity to push boundaries and create innovative, delicious dishes that were sustainable from start to finish. It led the way as the first public event to serve only a vegan menu. We’re excited to continue to be part of this important movement and we look forward to the 2020 awards and to working closely with the team as they mentor others on creating sustainable events.”
“We were the first event at BMA House to ask for a vegan menu for a non-vegan event,” explains Karen Sutton, CEO of GGA. “And since 2018 they have excelled themselves serving up truly delicious food. At GGA we pride ourselves on not just walking the sustainability talk, but eating it too! We also wanted to prove that you don’t have to be vegan to eat vegan, and enjoy it!”
CH&CO is sharing the role of joint headline sponsor alongside recycled paper brand Revive.
The Global Good Awards 2020 sponsored by CH&CO and REVIVE open for entries on 2 December 2019.
